Adam Parish
LACI PResident
Adam is a junior majoring Economics, minoring in Applied Analytics, and doing a Progressive Master's in Applied Economics and Econometrics. This is his fourth semester in LACI, and he has previously been a Team Lead and a Director of Projects. As President, Adam oversees the management and administrative operation of LACI, providing leadership and support to all of its members. He will be interning at EY-Parthenon again next summer in the Strategy and Transaction practice. In his free time he loves to cook, read, and run!
Manav Gundecha
Co-Vice President of Projects
Manav is a junior majoring in Business Administration with minors in law and technology and public policy. This is his fifth semester in LACI and he has previous team led and been a director or projects. As co-VP of Projects, he and Katelyn Eng recruit clients and oversee the project cycle. This past summer, he was a strategic finance intern at Uber. Manav is from Philadelphia and enjoys going to concerts, trying out new restaurants, and reading in his free time.
Katelyn Eng
Co-Vice President of Projects
Katelyn (she/her) is a junior majoring in Political Economy and Public Policy. She joined LACI in Spring 2022 and is currently Co-VP of Projects with Manav Gundecha. Prior to her current role, Katelyn completed projects with the Alcott Center for Mental Health Services and Jazz Hands for Autism, as well as served as a Director of Projects. She is passionate about environmental and social policy and has experience in the nonprofit and government sectors. Katelyn is from Campbell, CA, and enjoys hiking, field hockey, and reading in her free time.
Claire Silverstein
Vice President of Human Relations
Claire is a junior from Chatham, NJ pursuing a double major in Environmental Studies and Philosophy, Politics, and Law. This is her fourth semester in LACI and she is currently the VP of HR. As VP of HR, she primarily runs student recruitment, facilitates new member training, and oversees general member wellbeing. Claire is particularly passionate about social impact in the environmental field and the intersection of climate change and social injustice. This past summer, she worked for the Inyo County Water Department doing environmental vegetation research. In her free time, Claire enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and being at the beach.
Madelyn Peng
Vice President of Fellowship
Maddy is a junior from Boston, MA studying Business, Programming, and Cinematic Arts. This is her fourth semester in LACI, and she previously served as a team lead and Director of Human Resources. As Vice President of Fellowship, Maddy organizes social events and focuses on fostering an engaging and inclusive LACI environment. This past summer, she worked as a Marketing & Data Analytics intern at Duetti, a music fintech startup. She is passionate about creating meaningful social impact and driving innovative change in the business, technology, and entertainment fields. In her free time, Maddy loves making Spotify playlists, hip-hop dance, writing film critiques, and side hustling.
Aahana Chowdhuri
vice President of Finance
Aahana Chowdhuri is a junior from San Jose, California studying Business Administration and Data Science. This is her fifth semester in LACI, and she's previously served as a Director of Projects. Aahana's role as VP of Finance entails securing sponsorship opportunities and managing the finances of LACI. Last summer, she was a product management intern at Dell Technologies. In her free time, Aahana loves to write poetry, dance, and explore LA's museums.
Blake Pak
Vice President of External Relations
Blake is a junior from Pasadena, California studying Business and Innovation: The Digital Entrepreneur. This is her fourth semester in LACI, and she previously served as a team lead and Director of External Relations (XR). As Vice President of XR, Blake organizes professional development events and manages the organization’s marketing strategy. This past summer, she worked as a B2B Strategy & Governance Business Analyst intern at Mastercard. In her free time, Blake loves creative pursuits, including graphic design, photography, and watercoloring. She also enjoys working out and spending time with her two family dogs!
Tien Tran
Vice President of Internal Relations
Tien is a sophomore from San Jose, California studying Business Administration and minoring in Digital Entrepreneurship. This is his third semester in LACI, and as VP of Internal Resources, Tien oversees internal communications and works to improve members’ experiences in the organization. This past summer, he worked as a marketing intern for a tech startup and a strategic research intern for a sports-based youth nonprofit in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In his free time, Tien loves traveling, watching sports, and playing video games.
